A liquid nutrient solution intended for plants with potassium needs. The product increases the nutrient absorption of the plants and makes them less sensitive to stress like cold, drought and large amounts of precipitation. Treatment with PROGROW products increases the availability of macronutrients in the soil between 1.5 to 2.5 times. ProGrow Ucal is an environmentally friendly crop and agriculture based on South African coal, with a wide range of micronutrients and trace elements.

Use & dosage

Dosage 50 – 75 liters / ha in 300 – 400 liters of water. First application at ground temperature 6-8 C.

Product information

Fulvic acids form a natural part of the soil’s organic content. They chelaterate mineral and trace elements so that the plants’ ability to absorb nutrition increases sharply. Increased nutrient availability and nutritional uptake provide both increased growth and post-harvest quality, while reducing the amount of fertilizer.

Products containing fulvic acids generally provide:

  • Increased germination rate when sown
  • Improved root development and increased nutrient uptake
  • Stronger and stronger cell walls, stronger plants
  • Improved growth in low light

Technical data

Calcium ammonium nitrate with salt of fulvic acid. pH: 2.5-3.5. In very high pH soils, the product lowers the pH at the roots, allowing more nutrients to be available. The product is a concentrated product (9-12% fulvic acid).

Humic acid improves soil and also makes nutrients more accessible to plants. When adding humic acid, the ability of microbes to break down and mineralize organic matter increases greatly.

The humic acid also enhances the earth’s cation exchange effect and reacts with positively charged mineral ions, thus forming organic complexes. It creates a much more porous soil structure with a positive impact on the root environment, while the soil’s ability to absorb water increases sharply.

The molecule of the fulvic acid has the ability to chelate (bind to) minerals and nutrients so that they are more easily absorbed by the cells of the plants. Growth’s ability to absorb nutrition increases sharply while nutritional turnover and photosynthesis become more active, allowing plants to grow at lower temperatures and in weaker sunlight.

The follaric acid also has a biochemical neutralizing / buffering effect on the soil pH.

A porous soil with greater ability to bind water, more easily accessible nutrients and increased nutrient uptake at the plant cells together give a great effect in cultivation.
